- How we got started:
- OUR FOUNDER AND HONORARY PRESIDENT
- Kru Vut Kamnark was a notable student of Muay Thai under both Dr. Chanchai Yombit and the College Director Kru Juratdet Urit, who is famous for receiving the Teacher of the Year award and for authoring a Muay Thai College textbook. Kru Vut came to the U.S.A., where he spent 17 years establishing Muay Thai. His contributions include founding the United World Muay Thai Assoc. (U.W.M.T.A.) in 1993, which presented over 100 training camps across the U.S.A.
- Producing popular Muay Thai training video series and working closely with the California State Athletic Commission to establish Muay Thai in the U.S.A.
- Also, some consider him to be the most outstanding Muay Thai fight promoter of Los Angeles and the entire U.S.A.
- Presently, Kru Vut Kamnark is the International Director for the University’s Muay Thai College. With his guidance, the College now seeks to build ties internationally and promote authentic Muay Thai and all of its culture and values to the World.

- Under the direction of Dr. Chanchai Yombit, the Muban Chom Bueng Rajabhat University in Thailand started the first Muay Thai College over five years ago with the authorization of Thailand’s Ministry of Physical Education. In 2009, for the First time in history, (13) men and (1) women from Thailand earned P.H.D.’s in Muay Thai and have been tasked with restoring Muay Thai Culture in Thailand’s Schools, Colleges, and Universities as an attempt to revive Muay Thai History.
